Job title: Apprentice Control Systems Maintenance Technician

Location: Radway Green

Salary: Starting from £18,023 with annual progression through the scheme duration.

What you’ll be doing
  • Aid design, implementation and maintenance of processes to optimise productivity
  • Ensuring manufacturing plant and equipment is running efficiently while meeting quality and safety standards
  • Finding creative solutions to problem, assisting with preventive maintenance plans, analysing processes and helping in making improvements in a highly complex and varied manufacturing site
  • Designing and developing new control systems
  • Testing, maintaining and modifying existing systems
  • Analysing data and presenting findings
  • Fault diagnosis of PLC and SCADA systems
  • Working with design engineers and operational functions
  • Analysing systems and processes to implement improvements
What qualification will you get?

The qualification you will achieve is:
Engineering maintenance technician – single discipline / Skills England

To achieve this qualification, you will be expected to attend the state‑of‑the‑art Academy for Skills and Knowledge (ASK) in Samlesbury 3 days each week during the first year; transport is provided.
