Job description
Job Title:

Advanced Apprentice Assembly Engineering Technician

Location:

Hillend (Dunfermline)

Salary:

Starting from £18,848 with annual progression through the scheme duration.

What you'll be doing:
  • Manufacture, test, diagnosis, investigation, repair and modification of complex Radar, Avionics and underwater military products.
  • Gain a detailed understanding of assembly techniques, electrical wiring, mechanical fitting, printed circuit board (PCB) assembly and microelectronics processing.
  • Upon successful completion of the Assembly and Test Engineering Apprenticeship the apprentice will be able to perform complex assembly/disassembly or modification tasks to industry standards such as IPC and ANSIJ on electronic or mechanical components, subassemblies and systems - encompassing new build, repairs products or prototype products.

  • At the end of the apprenticeship, you will obtain a nationally recognised Apprenticeship Completion Certificate.
