Job summary

Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Clinical Fellow Higher (ST3-5) in Anaesthetics at Addenbrooke’s Hospital. The post runs for six months from 03 February 2027 to 03 August 2027, offering supervised anaesthetic training and exposure to subspecialties.

Applicants should have at least two years’ experience in anaesthesia, be fully registered with the GMC, and demonstrate English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in anaesthesia.
• Full GMC registration and licence to practice at start date.
• Proficiency in English for medical communication.

Responsibilities

• On-call commitment on a full shift rota system.
• Develop anaesthetic experience via modular subspecialty training.
• Engage in related research opportunities where available.
• Training in ultrasound, management and education as applicable.
