Job summary

Cornerstone Project Source in Essex is seeking an experienced Advance Steel Designer/Detailer to produce approval, fabrication and erection drawings for architectural and general metalwork. The role is office/factory based in Waltham Abbey, with a start ASAP and a salary up to £55k DOE.

You will create 3D models and 2D CAD drawings using Autodesk Advance Steel, generate GA drawings, assembly details and material schedules while working closely with project managers, engineers and workshop teams

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years Advance Steel detailing/draughting experience.
• Strong understanding of architectural/general metalwork and fabrication processes.
• Able to work full-time from the office in Waltham Abbey.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models and 2D CAD drawings using Autodesk Advance Steel.
• Generate GA drawings, assembly details and material schedules.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers and workshop teams.
• Interpret engineering calculations and specifications to deliver projects on time.
