🌟 Advanced / Senior Practitioner - Children in Care Team 🌟

📍 Location: Stoke-on-Trent

🕗 Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00

💷 Pay: Up to £33.30/hour (Umbrella)

An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen to join our dedicated Children in Care Teams in Stoke-on-Trent! 💙

We're seeking aspirational, dynamic, and compassionate Social Workers who are passionate about supporting children and young people to thrive and reach their full potential. 🌈

You’ll work directly with children in care, ensuring their plans are tailored, aspirational, and centred around their individual needs, helping them understand their journey and achieve permanency through Adoption, Special Guardianship, or independent living. 🏡💫

🔍 What We’re Looking For

Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England

ASYE completed + minimum 3 years post‑qualified experience

✅ Proven experience in:

  • Supervisory / Practice Development roles
  • Supporting and mentoring others
  • Contributing to professional learning and team growth

✅ Strong skills in direct work, relationship building, and permanency planning

✅ A commitment to child‑centred practice and restorative approaches 🤝

💼 What You’ll Do

✨ Complete statutory duties and coordinate care plans

✨ Engage children meaningfully in their plans and reviews

✨ Work closely with the Contact Service to promote family time and lasting relationships

✨ Support children to build strong networks and prepare for independent living

✨ Contribute to the development and learning of colleagues and students within the team
