A leading NHS Trust in the UK is seeking a Senior ODP/Anaesthetic Practitioner to assist in ensuring safe care across various settings. As a senior ODP/Anaesthetic Practitioner you will be expected to assist Anaesthetists in safe care, not only in a theatre setting but outlying areas, such as Imaging suites and Emergency Services department. You should be proactive, flexible and have a keen eye for detail to maintain our excellent care standards. We will provide comprehensive training in various capacities including Trauma, Neonates and advanced airway techniques to enhance your skills to meet our challenging work place.

The post holder will be responsible for the effective and efficient operational supervision of the department; including a budgetary awareness, clinical governance, staff development and training.
The post holder will be expected to provide professional leadership within the clinical area and provide direction and inspirational leadership to all members of the multidisciplinary team within the area for which they are accountable for. The post holder will be involved in the development of protocols / guidelines and patient information.
