Job summary

Bromley Healthcare is seeking a Bank Band 4 Adult Speech and Language Therapy Assistant to join the Adult Community SLT team in Bromley. The role is 15 hours per week with a pro rata NHS salary.

The post supports adults with communication and swallowing disorders, including dementia and Parkinson’s disease, and requires a valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the borough. Training and strong supervision are provided.

Qualifications

• Current UK driving licence is essential.
• Experience in administration roles preferred.
• Experience working with Speech and Language Therapists is advantageous.
• Experience with adults who have communication or swallowing difficulties is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support Adult SLT services in Bromley as part of the ASLT team.
• Assist with admin tasks and data entry related to patient care.
• Work within MDTs and FEEs services as required.
• Travel within the community to support ASLT services and patients.
