Service Care Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a respected Local Authority, based in the West Midlands, which is seeking an experienced Adult Social Care Paralegal to join their legal team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a busy, supportive environment while making a real impact in adult social care law.

Role Details

Position: Adult Social Care Paralegal

Length: 3 months ongoing

Umbrella Rate: £25 – 30ph

PAYE Inc. Rate: £22.32 – £26.71ph

Location: Wolverhampton – Hybrid working model (MUST be able to attend the office twice a week)

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently manage a caseload of Re X Community DoLS.
  • Prepare and review court documents, statements, and orders.
  • Provide clear legal advice where required.
  • Support solicitors with s21A and 16.
  • Use case management systems (ideally IKEN) and other IT platforms confidently.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in local government legal services within a social care team is ESSENTIAL.
  • Proven ability to handle a varied caseload with minimal supervision.
  • Availability to attend the office twice weekly.
