Job summary

A reputable consultancy is seeking an Adult Social Care Lawyer for a contract role in West London. This position involves providing expert legal advice on adult social care legislation and managing a varied caseload, including complex cases. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in this area, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively. The role is office-based for 2 days a week and offers competitive pay of £60ph LTD or equivalent PAYE rates.

Servicer Care Solutions are working alongside a reputable West London Borough Council who are seeking an Adult Social Care Lawyer to join their team on a contract basis. Please find below further details with regards to this position.

Role Details

Role: Adult Social Care Lawyer
Location: West London
Rate: £60ph LTD / £52.81ph PAYE inc. holiday pay / £47.12ph PAYE exc. holiday pay
Contract: 3 month initially, 36 hours per week
Office Attendance: 2 days per week

The Role
  • Provide expert legal advice on adult social care legislation, including the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005.
  • Manage and progress a varied caseload, including complex cases.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and reports.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
The Person
  • Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or CILEX with a valid practising certificate.
  • Strong experience in adult social care law within local government or similar.
  • Ability to independently manage a busy and complex caseload.
  • Excellent communication and high-quality drafting skills.
