About the Role

Have you built a successful career in the land‑based industries and want to share your expertise—even if you’ve never worked in education before? If you have hands‑on experience with horticultural or grounds maintenance machinery and a passion for helping others succeed, this could be the perfect next step for you.

We’re looking for a practical, industry‑focused professional to join our Adult Skills Team at Myerscough College, Liverpool. In this role, you’ll deliver high‑quality, hands‑on training in areas such as horticultural machinery operations and pesticide application (PA1, PA2, PA6a). You don’t need prior teaching experience—we’ll support you with training and development. What matters most is your real‑world knowledge, enthusiasm and ability to inspire adults who want to upskill, retrain or start a new career.

You’ll work with employers to tailor training that meets industry needs and support learners from all backgrounds to achieve their best.
