Our Client, Trafford council is seeking an Adult’s Social Worker to join their Central Neighbourhood Team.

Responsibilities
  • Assess the care and support needs of adults and carers, and plan with them to meet those needs.
  • Carry out mental capacity assessments and lead Best Interest decisions when needed.
  • Support adults who lack capacity by applying to the Court of Protection for care authorisations.
  • Manage a caseload, including adults at risk of harm or neglect.
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to complete assessments.
  • Collaborate with health professionals, social services, and partner agencies.
  • Keep accurate records and manage your workload efficiently, including providing data when needed.
  • Advocate for adults to help resolve conflicts and ensure their voices are heard.
  • Contribute to projects and working groups to improve services.
Requirements
  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
  • Must have minimum of 3 years post qualifying social work experience
