Leeds - Adults Services Team - Adults Social Worker - £31ph

Leeds City Council is seeking an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to join our Adults Services team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality, person-centered social work service to adults, carers, and the wider community, in line with statutory requirements and local authority policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive and high-quality social work service to adults and their carers.
• Manage a complex caseload, including work involving high levels of risk and challenge.
• Undertake statutory assessments in line with the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and other relevant legislation.
• Develop care and support plans that promote independence, wellbeing, and choice.
• Work collaboratively with professionals across health, housing, and voluntary sectors.
• Ensure timely and accurate record-keeping, assessment, and review processes.
