We are looking for a Fixed Term Adult Nurse to join our friendly, inclusive and forward thinking District Team, working across the West Lancashire area to provide care and support to patients in community settings.

The team is based out of Clayton House in Burscough.
Please note that this role is Fixed Term until June 2026.
A full UK Driving License is required due to the role being community based.
Main duties of the job
- To work as part of the 24‑hour district nursing service, under the direction of the District Nursing Team Manager / Leader, providing high quality holistic care to patients.
- The District Nurse role carries delegated responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidence‑based nursing to patients in their own homes.
- To assume delegated responsibility for the supervision of the team in the absence of the District Nursing Team Leader, when required.
To succeed within this role, you will have:
- A Degree/Diploma in Adult Nursing
- First level registered nurse
- Experience working as part of a multi‑disciplinary team / multi‑agency working (Desirable)
- An understanding of undertaking complex assessments and the planning and evaluation of care package
- Evidence of effective interpersonal skills
- Ability to problem‑solve and make clinical decisions
- Understanding of NMC standards and implications to practice
- Ability to work independently in a community setting
- High clinical standards
