Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join their Adults Mental Health team in Waltham Forest. The role involves conducting assessments, planning interventions, and ensuring high-quality care for vulnerable individuals. Candidates must hold a relevant degree, be registered with Social Work England, and have experience in Children’s Services. Salary up to £41,586 per annum offered.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Social Work or equivalent qualification.
  • Must hold a current registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in Children’s Services is required.
  • Full Drivers Licence and access to a vehicle is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct needs assessments to identify and determine intervention.
  • Assess risks to self and others to ensure safety.
  • Plan and implement interventions for allocated cases.
  • Monitor and review complex cases with guidance.
  • Provide expert advice to colleagues and partner agencies.
  • Liaise with colleagues from other agencies for support.
  • Document case files and prepare standard reports.
  • Ensure high-quality and compliant social care practice.
  • Implement Making Safeguarding Personal principles.
