A local government council in England is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support language skills development for learners in a vibrant environment. The role involves working alongside course tutors and may require working in multiple venues. This role will be supporting the whole curriculum working alongside specific course tutors in delivery and development of language skills. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be working under the guidance of the curriculum coordinator and course tutors to support learners to achieve their learning outcomes. The successful candidate will be working with diverse groups of learners in a vibrant and engaging learning environment. The support could include assisting someone physically, helping with understanding maths problems, reading, organisation, writing or keeping focus. Adult Learning courses are delivered in a variety of venues around Leicestershire and the successful candidate(s) may be required to work in more than one location. An enhanced DBS check is required for this post.
