A recruitment agency is seeking an Adult and Community Learning Skills Coach to deliver and assess community-based adult learning programmes across South Yorkshire. This permanent, full-time role involves working with adults aged 19+ who may face complex barriers to learning, including mental health issues and low confidence. The Adult & Community Learning Skills Coach will deliver high quality teaching, assessment, and learner support across an array of short, community-based adult learning programmes funded through the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA) Adult Skills Fund (ASF). Delivery will take place across community venues and programmes will range from short courses (minimum 15 days) to longer programmes (up to 20 weeks). The role supports adults aged 19+, many of whom may face complex barriers to learning, including mental health challenges, autism, low confidence, unemployment, or previous negative experiences of education.
