Job summary

Joseph Gallagher Ltd, a leading UK civil engineering and tunnelling contractor, is seeking an experienced ADT Driver for a long-term North East project on a PAYE contract. The role requires operating ADTs safely, performing daily checks, and working with site teams to meet safety and project standards.

Applicants must hold CPCS/NPORS ADT qualifications, have prior ADT experience on civil/infrastructure works, and possess a strong safety mindset with right-to-work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS/NPORS ADT qualification.
• Experience operating ADTs on civil engineering, utilities, infrastructure or earthworks projects.
• Good understanding of site health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate Articulated Dump Trucks safely and efficiently.
• Transport materials around site in accordance with site traffic management plans.
• Conduct daily machine inspections and report any defects.
• Work closely with site management and plant operations teams.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Assist with general earthworks activities where required.
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with company procedures and industry best practice.
