Salary: £60,000 - 90,000 per year
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or Accounting
- 10-15 years of experience in data integration/orchestration services, data governance, service architecture, and data modelling roles
- Hands-on experience with ETL, Snowflake, CI/CD pipelines, and data-readiness design, development, and implementation
- Experience designing and implementing relational data models for audit, time series, complex relationships, and high-volume data sets
- Experience and understanding of system performance and profiling techniques for complex data models used for storage and consumption
- Exposure to business data domains such as holdings, transactions, security reference data, performance and attribution, and ESG
- Strong ability to rationalize problems and use judgment and innovation to define clear, concise solutions
- Strong collaborative skills
- Good understanding of SDLC practices
- Experience with Azure and Snowflake architecture, design, and development is a plus
- Experience with Qlik Replicate and Compose (CDC) tools is a plus
- Strong data warehousing concepts and ETL tools such as Pentaho/Kettle, Talend Cloud Data Integration, and Kafka
- Strong SQL knowledge is required
- Exposure to the financial domain is a plus
- Cloud managed services experience such as MS Azure/DevOps is a plus
- Prior experience with State Street and Charles River Development (CRD) is a plus
- Experience with external systems such as Bloomberg, Reuters, rating agencies, and benchmark data providers

- Provide analysis and input into the design of the Alpha Data Services platform to support a rapidly growing business at massive scale
