Job summary

Pertemps Reading is seeking an HGV Class 2 ADR Cylinder Driver based in Thame, Oxfordshire. This full-time, temporary role pays £19.28 per hour and involves roughly 15–20 multi-drops daily delivering gas cylinders to customer sites, with a base in Thame.

You will observe Health & Safety protocols, ensure vehicle roadworthiness, maintain cleanliness, and hold a valid ADR Class 2 licence. The position offers a structured daily routine and weekend allowances by agreement.

Qualifications

• Valid ADR licence with classification 2 (in packages) is essential.
• HGV Class 2 entitlement held for a minimum of 3 years for insurance purposes is advantageous.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
• Strong Health & Safety awareness and compliance with client protocols.

Responsibilities

• Multi dropping approximately 15-20 drops per day delivering gas cylinders to customers.
• Adhering to strict Health & Safety operations as directed by the client.
• Ensuring the road worthiness, safekeeping and cleanliness of the allocated vehicle.
