Job summary

Resolve Recruitment Services are recruiting for an ADR Clinical Waste Operative to join our client's team in Poole. The role involves safe collection, transportation and disposal of hazardous clinical waste and driving either a van or an HGV Class 2 vehicle depending on licence.

The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, reliable and customer-focused, with ADR Class 6 desirable and a full UK driving licence. 40 hours per week with some weekend work paid at time and a half.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• ADR qualification.
• Previous professional driving experience.
• Good understanding of safe working practices.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Physically fit and able to lift and move waste containers.

Responsibilities

• Drive vans and HGV 2 vehicles to collection and disposal locations.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks.
• Maintain vehicle roadworthiness and cleanliness.
• Follow routes and collection schedules efficiently.
• Complete Hazardous Waste Transfer Notes accurately.
• Provide customers with copies of Waste Transfer Notes.
• Represent the company professionally on client sites.
• Report incidents or issues to the Transport Manager promptly.
