Job summary

A chauffeur-style ADR Class 2 driver role is available in Uxbridge. You will operate LPG deliveries to domestic and commercial customers, adhering to ADR/Class 2 requirements and driver-hours rules. The position offers a guaranteed weekly hours with potential overtime and a London weighting bonus per shift.

Expect comprehensive training, strict health and safety standards, and support from management. You will handle loading/unloading of gas cylinders and ensure high levels of customer service

Qualifications

• ADR Class 2 licence and related certification.
• Valid Cat C driving licence, Digi card, DCPC card.
• Familiarity with drivers' hours legislation and tachographs.

Responsibilities

• Delivery to domestic/commercial customers and wholesale suppliers
• Multi-drop operation
• Difficult and challenging delivery environment with lots of minor roads
• Strong focus on H&S when driving and delivering
• Ever changing and dynamic delivery environment
• Monday to Friday shift pattern
• Possible long/extended hours during peak periods
• Delivering exceptional customer service
• Ensuring safe and professional operations in line with client standards
• Loading / unloading of HGV vehicles with gas cylinders
• Manual handling of gas cylinders

ADR Class 2 driver seeking a new opportunity? Join our client's team at Uxbridge and enjoy:

Competitive Pay:

Earn

£19.41 per hour, guaranteed 42.5 hours per week, overtime rates of

£29.12 Rates are PAYE, 28 days holiday per year which increase with length of service. (London weighting bonus of £7.75 per shift) - Ongoing position.

Full LPG training provided, All PPE provided free of charge, Scrupulously maintained vehicles and a strong emphasis on H&S.

Yearly Bonuses:

Performance-based bonuses available worth upto £2000 per annum

Flexible Shifts:

Monday to Friday (Day shifts) with some Saturdays in busy times. The hours of work will be around the hours of 07:00am - 17:00pm Some overtime is required.

Responsibilities:

• Delivery to domestic/commercial customers and wholesale suppliers
• Multi-drop operation covered by ADR/CDG Regulations.
• Difficult and challenging delivery environment. Lots of minor roads, single lane carriageways, adverse weather conditions, physically arduous work
• Strong focus on H&S when driving and delivering
• Ever changing and dynamic delivery environment
• Monday to Friday shift pattern
• Potentially long and extended working hours (10 hours+ per day) during peak period
• Delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ensuring safe and professional operations in line with client standards.
• Loading / Unloading of HGV Vehicles with Gas cylinders
• Manual handling of Gas cylinders

Requirements:

• Valid Cat C driving licence, Digi card, DCPC card
• ADR licence in class 2 in packages
• Familiarity with drivers' hours legislation and tachographs.

Details:

• The role is due to start immediately and will be ongoing
• Lots of management and colleague support available
• For insurance purposes, you must have relevant HGV experience, should have no more than 6 points on your licence, and no DD or DR convictions in the last year.
