Your role

The Adobe Developer is a pivotal role within the CRM function, responsible for consultancy and campaign development. The Adobe Developer will bring extensive knowledge of the marketing campaign lifecycle, technical database systems and Adobe Campaign to fully utilise the capabilities within the platform. They will work closely with our delivery leads and solution architects to problem solve, design and deliver industry leading CRM output. The successful candidate will have a can‑do attitude, with an eye for attention to detail and the confidence to deliver complex multi‑channel campaigns in a fast‑paced environment.

Day to day you will
  • Consult on projects and advise on the capabilities within Adobe Campaign, for maximised platform utilisation and campaign best practices.
  • Responsible for interpreting complex data and automation briefs and inputting expertise to meet objectives for campaign delivery across email, push, SMS and In app – including ad‑hoc campaigns, automated journeys, data table management and architecture.
  • Use of Adobe Campaign to build detailed data workflows to support the implementation of the CRM strategy across brands.
  • Understand the breadth of data available across The Times and Sunday Times, the data flow, architecture and data integrations to identify opportunities and champion data for problem solving within CRM.
  • Responsible for quality assurance, identifying areas for improvement and troubleshooting when issues arise. This may include liaising with Adobe Support, raising failures and supporting investigations.
  • Create and maintain system documentation including campaign documentation for journeys and templates, matrix of typology rules and automated audience list updates and data extractions.
  • Create and manage workflow templates and campaign templates, delivery templates and content fragments.
What we’re looking for from you
  • Demonstrable proficiency and confidence in Adobe Campaign – experienced in the end‑to‑end process.
  • Creating operational standards to ensure time efficiencies.
  • Works well within a team but also work very effectively independently, when it is required.
  • Being able to multitask in a very dynamic working environment is essential.
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into easily digestible information for different audiences.
