Job summary

Cambian Group is recruiting an Admissions and Transitions Coordinator for Cambian Spring Hill School in Ripon, North Yorkshire. The role is 40 hours per week, term time, with a salary of £29,827.20. You will coordinate end-to-end admissions, design transition plans, and support safeguarding across partnerships.

Reporting to the school leadership, you will engage with families, social workers, and commissioning teams to ensure smooth, child-centred transitions and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Background in education, residential care, or social care.
• Experience with SEND, SEMH, or autistic young people.
• Familiarity with EHCP, LAC, CIN and commissioning workflows.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Admissions: manage end-to-end referral process with the Commissioning Team and SLT; review paperwork and schedule assessments.
• Plan Transitions: design and execute robust transition plans for children and young people entering or leaving care.
• Advocate & Collaborate: attend LAC, CIN, and EHCP meetings; keep meticulous records and liaise with families and social workers.
• Track Success: maintain data, audit files and ensure regulatory compliance.
