About the area

The Admissions team sits within the Brand, Marketing and Recruitment (BMR) division, which drives UWA’s brand strategy, marketing communications and student recruitment initiatives. Admissions plays a critical role in supporting the University’s strategic goals by delivering efficient, student‑focused processes to admit high‑quality domestic and international students across undergraduate, postgraduate, study abroad and exchange programs.

About the opportunity
  • Assess and process a diverse range of applications—including international and domestic undergraduate and postgraduate coursework—ensuring accuracy, efficiency and alignment with UWA policy.
  • Provide expert advice to managers, faculty staff and prospective students, drawing on detailed knowledge of qualifications, GPA calculations, English language proficiency and document verification.
  • Support the smooth operation of the Admissions office by contributing to improved systems, procedures and administrative processes
About you
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent experience.
  • Strong administrative experience, ideally within a large or complex organisation.
  • High-level attention to detail, numerical reasoning and organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, plus the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency across a range of computer systems and databases, with the willingness to learn new technologies.
Special Requirements
  • Requirement to work during the Christmas/New Year UWA Shutdown period
  • Occasional weekend and after-hours work and some overseas or interstate travel as required
