Job summary

PEN Group is seeking an experienced Admission Manager to lead the end-to-end admission process across our educational operations in London. The role emphasizes strategic planning, team leadership, and collaboration with academic, marketing, and other partners to meet enrolment targets.

You will mentor admission officers, monitor metrics with data analytics, and prepare reports for senior leadership while ensuring compliance with education regulations and PEN's standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (master's degree preferred).
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience in a similar industry, in a leadership role.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in the education sector.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

The Admission Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the admission process within an educational institution or organization. This senior-level position involves strategic planning, team leadership, and collaboration with various department to ensure the effective and efficient execution of admission procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the admission process to meet enrolment targets and organisational objectives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of admission officers, coordinators, and support staff.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to keep the team updated on admission policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve admission processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work closely with academic departments, marketing teams, and other partners to align admission strategies with the institution's goals.
  • Collaborate with faculty to ensure a comprehensive understanding of academic programs and admission requirements.
  • Utilise data analytics tools to track and analyse admission metrics, including application numbers, conversion rates, and demographic trends.
  • Generate reports for senior leadership to support decision-making.
  • Develop and update admission policies in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Ensure that all admission-related communications are clear, accurate, and in adherence to policies.
  • Address inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of admission events, open events, and recruitment activities to attract and engage prospective students.
  • Represent the institution at relevant conferences and educational fairs.
  • Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations related to admissions.
  • Assist the SLT in delivering a successful admissions process.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulations and department policies.
  • Make sure your work is filed and recorded appropriately where necessary.
  • Be flexible and show initiative; performing other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of PEN.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (master's degree preferred).
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience in a similar industry, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in the education sector.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
