Join our dynamic People Directorate team and play a key role in supporting the Senior Leadership Team. We're looking for an organised, proactive individual to provide efficient administrative support and ensure the smooth day‑to‑day running of the office.
You’ll manage your own workload, prioritising tasks and working independently while using your initiative to handle urgent matters. Responsibilities include acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, coordinating meeting papers and agendas, and organising meetings with all associated arrangements.
Flexibility is essential as you’ll support the Business Support Manager and colleagues across the Directorate when needed. You’ll also process requisitions and invoices using Oracle, and ensure goods are ordered and received promptly.
If you’re highly organised, adaptable, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!
Provide an efficient and effective administrative support service to the People Directorate Senior Leadership Team.
Support the day‑to‑day running of the Senior Leadership Team office and ensuring their business is managed effectively and efficiently.
Work flexibly to support the Business Support Manager, and assist and support other colleagues within the People Directorate as required.
Support the co‑ordination and provision of meeting papers and agendas.
Welsh Skills Desirable: This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. This doesn’t mean essential; while the candidate doesn’t need to have skills in Welsh, we’ll consider it an advantage when short‑listing and selecting candidates. This isn’t ‘fluency’, just speaking & listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. Level 3 means basic conversations with patients about their everyday health. For more information, see ‘Welsh Language Guidance’ in the documents at the bottom.
