Administrator – English Department

Hours: 37 hours per week.

We are an award‑winning college committed to excellence not only in teaching and learning but also in development, infrastructure, and systems support. The Administrator – English Department will be the first point of contact for the department, providing efficient administrative services, answering enquiries, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to all departmental enquiries and coordinate communication between managers and staff.
  • Use Microsoft Office and the college’s data information systems.
  • Set up student timetables and registers.
  • Book rooms for the team.
  • Create and update tracking and monitoring documents.
  • Maintain accurate records and files.
  • Take minutes in team meetings.
  • Claim for qualifications.
  • Raise purchase orders and process invoices.

Qualifications:

  • 5 GCSEs (Grade A*‑C/9‑4) including English and Maths, or equivalent.
  • Relevant administration experience.
  • A Level 2 qualification in Business Administration is desirable.
