Neway International have a Job Opportunity for an Administrator Level 3 – Children’s Services

Client: Denbighshire County Council

Location: Russell House, Churton Road, Rhyl, LL18 3ND

Role Overview

Denbighshire County Council is seeking a proactive and highly organised Administrator Level 3 to join their Children’s Services team on a temporary basis. This office-based role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills, particularly in minute taking, and a passion for supporting service delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Start Date: 17 November 2025, initially for 3 months - likely to be extended.

Hours per Week: 37

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality administrative support across Children’s Services
  • Minute meetings and ensure accurate documentation
  • Manage manual and digital records and information systems
  • Collate and produce reports, data, and complex documents
  • Process invoices, coding sheets, and budget spreadsheets
  • Coordinate events and support other staff as needed
  • Operate ICT packages including Word, Excel, and databases
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards
  • Provide cover for colleagues during absence or leave
  • Participate in meetings, training, and development activities
Requirements
  • Proven experience in administrative roles, ideally within social care or public services
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Confident in minute taking and managing sensitive information
  • Strong IT skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office packages
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible and reliable with a proactive approach to problem-solving
