We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator/CareCo-ordinator to join the team at Ellergreen Medical Centre.

This role is a dynamic and multifaceted role that supportsthe clinical and administrative functions of our practice. The successful candidate will play a vitalrole in co-ordinating patient care, managing reception-based tasks, performinggeneral administrative duties. Theposition requires excellent organisation, interpersonal and communicationskills to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the practice.

We are looking for an individual with excellent patient orcustomer centred care skills, candidates with previous experience ortransferable skills will be taken into full consideration. Primary Care knowledge is desirable but notessential as full training will be provided.

Shifts included : within our opening hours of 8.00am to6.30pm covering Morning, Afternoon/Evening requirements. Full discussion of availability/working hourswill be had at interview.

Main duties of the job

Main duties of the role :

Reception based work : Processing referrals, prescriptions,tasks, monitoring nhs.net emails, answering calls.

Care Co-ordinator : Process request for patient onlineaccess including proxy access, maintain waiting list of cryotherapy requests,action severe combined immune deficiency reports, update envisage screens andauto arrivals system, to act as digital champion, issue hospital contractbreach letters

Administration : Run and action a number of regularsearches, daily checking of correspondence received in post, run and action IGRcall and recall, run and action prostate cancer injection recall, run andaction Learning Disabilities call and recall, resolve duplicate NHSnumbers, maintain home visitappointments list.

We are part of the North Liverpool Primary Care Network and work collaboratively with other practices in the area.
