Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our Healthcare Team at HMP Thameside, London, a category B Prison. The role involves booking appointments for patients, updating the database, handling referrals, and other administration duties.

Hours

Monday – Friday 08:00 – 16:00 or 09:00 – 17:00

Salary

This position is full time; you’ll receive an annual salary up to £29,837 per annum FTE, depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a legal right to work in the UK, and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks

Main duties
  • Contribute to the delivery of administration services to the healthcare team on site
  • Work within a busy team, completing a variety of administrative tasks, including IT systems, maintaining databases/waiting lists/call-up lists, customer service, answering and directing telephone calls, and general office duties such as typing, ordering, and stock control
