Job summary

A well-known organization in logistics seeks an Administrator to support their East Kilbride office. The role involves managing supplier deliveries, communicating with stakeholders, and creating export documents. Ideal candidates should have transport/logistics experience, be proficient in MS Office, and be flexible with shift times. This is an ongoing temporary position with Monday to Friday hours.

Qualifications

  • Experience working within a transport/logistics function.
  • Confident liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in MS Office and can quickly learn processes.
  • Able to commit to varying shift times and weekend working.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and process supplier deliveries via warehouse management systems.
  • Solve warehouse queries to ensure process compliance.
  • Liaise with and support key stakeholders.
  • Collate data for effective communication of KPI information.
  • Create export documents for deliveries into Ireland.
  • Monitor vehicle progress in coordination with Global Freight and Transport.
  • Ensure smooth delivery of service to end clients.

Overview

Brightwork are currently recruiting for an Administrator to work with our client, a well‑known organization on site at their offices in East Kilbride. The role is on an ongoing temporary basis, working during a peak period within the team with Mon to Fri business hours covered.

Responsibilities
  • Receive all supplier deliveries accurately and process/allocate via internal warehouse management systems
  • Solve warehouse queries to ensure process compliance
  • Liaise with and support key stakeholders
  • Collate data to support effective communication across the business of KPI information
  • Accurately create export documents to support deliveries into Ireland
  • Monitor progress of our vehicles alongside Global Freight and Transport departments
  • Work closely with these business units to ensure smooth delivery of service to end clients
Qualifications
  • Have experience working within a transport/logistics function
  • Be confident liaising with stakeholders across all levels
  • Be confident working with all MS Office packages and pick up processes with ease
  • Be able to commit to varying shift times and weekend working
