Job summary

E-ACT Shenley Academy in Birmingham is seeking an Administrator to deliver high-quality administrative support and be the welcoming first point of contact for students, parents, staff and visitors.

The role involves managing enquiries, maintaining records, supporting attendance and admissions, and ensuring efficient processes across the school. Excellent organisational skills and proficiency in MS Office are essential.

Qualifications

  • GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above (or equivalent).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to academy staff and leadership teams.
  • Act as a professional and welcoming first point of contact for students, parents, visitors and external agencies.
  • Manage telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries, ensuring prompt and effective responses.
  • Maintain accurate student, staff and academy records in line with data protection requirements.
  • Support attendance, admissions and other student-related administrative processes as required.
