Job summary

A healthcare recruitment agency is seeking a Clerical Officer / Receptionist to provide essential administrative and reception support at the Macmillan Unit in Dundonald. This role involves reception duties, data management, and general office responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and relevant qualifications in administration. The position is a full-time role with a pay rate of £12.21 per hour. Training compliance and an Enhanced Disclosure Check are required.

Qualifications

  • 4 GCSEs (Grades A-C) including English Language OR NVQ Level 2 in Administration OR 1 year's clerical/administrative experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Good keyboard skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Reception duties and first point of contact for patients and visitors.
  • Data input and retrieval using computer systems.
  • Maintenance of filing systems and processing mail.
  • Booking appointments and arranging meetings.
  • General office duties including photocopying, scanning, and handling queries.
