Part-Time Administrative Officer – Milton Keynes Courts

We have a fantastic opportunity to join the busy and dynamic team at Milton Keynes Courts in a part-time administrative role. This is a varied position where you'll be supporting court operations, handling enquiries, and ensuring smooth day-to-day processes in a fast-paced environment.

Role Details
  • Hours: 22.5 per week (3 full days – Monday & Tuesday essential, third day flexible)
  • Contract: Temporary until 31st March 2026, with potential extension
  • Pay: £12.36 per hour
  • Location: Milton Keynes
  • Start date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities
  • Managing the court's telephone help desk (call handling)
  • Collating and analysing information and data (regular use of Excel)
  • Processing applications, handling fee accounting and cashier duties
  • Supporting IT data entry and order processing
  • Overseeing administrative procedures and processes
  • Liaising with the courtroom, judiciary, and members of the public
  • Preparing and processing correspondence
  • Acting as an administrative contact point with internal and external stakeholders
What We're Looking For

Additional Requirements
  • A DBS check is required for this role
  • Candidates must be able to provide three years of references
