Admin Officer – MOJ- HMCTS

Location: Nuneaton County Court, Warwickshire Justice Centre, Vicarage Street, CV11 4WX

Contract: Temporary position until 31st Dec 2025, subject to extension based on performance and business needs.

Hourly rate: £13.25 per hour

Working days/hours: 37hrs per week, Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (Office based)

Job description: Brook Street in partnership with the Ministry of Justice has a fantastic opportunity to join their team as an Admin Officer. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable exposure/experience working within the Public Sector.

Responsibilities
  • General administration duties
  • Data inputting using Microsoft Office package, including Excel
  • Supporting the Judiciary with hearings using the Cloud Video Platform, MS Teams and other video/audio platforms
  • Producing court orders using the Courts bespoke systems and dealing with correspondence
  • Ensuring everyone has correct papers needed and distributing them where necessary
  • Some elements of telephone work where needed
  • Completing documents including standard letters, forms, applications, orders, records, registers, statistics etc
  • Providing support to colleagues
  • Operating office equipment
Clearance level

Basic DBS, applied for by Brook Street upon a successful application.

Training

No annual leave during training period.

Additional clearance

If a candidate spent 6 months or longer outside the UK in the last 5 years, an additional overseas police check will be required, which the candidate must provide.
