A major healthcare organization is seeking an Administrative Officer to support the NHS Specialist Pharmacy Service. The role includes managing diaries, organizing meetings, and providing project support. Candidates should have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, experience in note-taking, and good Microsoft Office skills. Flexible working arrangements are available, including remote options and part-time roles.
This role supports the NHS Specialist Pharmacy Service, specifically the Medicines Use and Safety team, by providing administrative and technical support for the Medicines Engagement Leadership Programme. The post is full‑time (1.0 WTE) on a fixed‑term contract or secondment until 31 March 2026 and may be considered for part‑time work. The post holder will maintain administrative practices and procedures, organise workload, liaise with internal and external colleagues, and contribute to the technical and administrative aspects of delivering a national network programme through online platforms and face‑to‑face meetings.
The post is hosted by Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust; however, the post holder can work remotely. Flexible working arrangements are available, including part‑time, reduced hours, compressed hours, fixed shifts, time back in lieu and home working.
Under current Home Office Immigration Rules, we are unable to offer right‑to‑work visa sponsorship for Band 2 and 3 roles with a salary of less than £25,000 pa. All DBS applications will be subject to the standard or enhanced fee and deducted from salary following commencement of employment.
