Job title: Administrative Officer

Salary: £23,151.50 per annum

Location: Cardiff

Contract/Hours: Fixed Term Contract for 6 months, Full-time – 35 hours per week

About the role

Based at our Head Office for Wales in Cardiff, you'll be working in a small, friendly team. Regularly liaising with our services who enrich the lives of the children and young people that we work with on a daily basis

In this busy and exciting role, you'll provide high quality business support to relevant members of our Wales Leadership Team ie

  • Presenting a variety of information in various formats to different senior stakeholders
  • Undertaking some HR tasks and supporting different business areas
  • Compiling data, and liaising with internal and external colleagues

This will be a varied role in which you'll need to provide an effective, efficient administrative service which would suit an experienced Administrative professional who wants to make a difference to the lives of children and families across Wales.

  • Providing a high-quality range of administrative services across the departments.
  • Being effective, intuitive, flexible and able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team, to meet to deadlines.
  • Being a confident communicator, able to converse with senior professionals from a variety of backgrounds
Let’s talk about you
  • Proven work experience within a similar administration role
  • Confident in using PC's on a business network running MS Windows and Office, along with email and internet and specific business applications i.e. finance.
  • Experience of providing a confidential, professional service and to work flexibly to meet the demands of the role.
  • Good at prioritising and meeting deadlines with excellent organisation and planning skills.
  • To work within a team environment, demonstrating tact and diplomacy with other members of staff.
