A leading healthcare provider in York is seeking an Administration Assistant to support the Surgery Care Group. The role involves various administration tasks such as managing the NMC Registration database and organizing departmental meetings. This position includes flexible working options after probation, with up to 2 days of remote work per week.

Overview

We are looking for an Administration Assistant to join the Surgery Care Group. The post holder should be able to work well on their own and as part of a team, adapt to changing demands, be accurate in inputting information and able to follow instructions.

Responsibilities
  • Administration tasks including the NMC Registration database
  • Arranging Return to Work meetings
  • Processing HR forms and other office duties
  • Administration of departmental meetings and taking and typing up minutes
Qualifications and Skills
  • Excellent communication skills and accuracy
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
  • Ability to prioritise workloads with a flexible approach
  • Proven ability to work independently using initiative as well as in a team
  • Previous experience of NHS systems is advantageous but not essential (training provided)
