Administrative Assistant for SEND

Permanent position, part‑time working 27.5 hours per week during term time plus 6 INSET days, for 39.2 weeks per year. Hours must be worked across 5 days (Monday to Friday); start and finish times are flexible and will be discussed at interview.

Salary: Grade 4: £25,583 – £25,989 pro rata. Actual salary: £16,511.74 – £16,773.78 per annum.

The successful candidate will work with the Individual Needs Team to ensure efficient and effective administration systems within the department. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing statutory paperwork, letters and telephone calls to parents and external agencies.
  • Arranging meetings for the SENDCo / Assistant SENDCo.
  • Supporting teaching staff and acting as a role model for students, demonstrating teamwork, collaboration and respect.
