Role profile

We have a great opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to support our Banking department based in our central Bristol office. This is a full‑time position, 35 hours per week, 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Due to the nature of the work, this position is office based.

The Team

The Banking support team is made up of PAs and the position reports into the Real Estate Senior PA.

What you'll do

The main purpose of this role is to provide high level administrative support to the PA and legal teams and other areas of the business when requested including but not limited to:

  • Managing deeds including checking deeds, typing schedules, assisting with deed audits, requesting, returning and posting deeds out. Liaising with key clients to keep deed records up to date;
  • Scanning, photocopying, printing and binding;
  • Preparation of letters and special delivery and courier forms;
  • Saving and distributing scanned post;
  • Running WIP Manager reports;
  • Management of large file sends;
  • Proactively take responsibility for travel arrangements, conference bookings and meeting room bookings in advance;
  • Collation and processing of Fee Earner expenses;
  • Dealing with telephone enquiries;
  • Assist PA team with monthly billing;
  • File closures.
We are looking for someone with:
  • A positive attitude with a collaborative and proactive approach;
  • Previous administrative experience;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • The ability to work well under pressure;
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Excellent organisational skills;
