A local primary school in Senghenydd is seeking a motivated School Support Officer to provide administrative support. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience with Microsoft Office, and a proactive attitude. Nant-y-Parc Primary School is a successful and well‑established school at the heart of the Senghenydd community. The Headteacher and Governing Body are seeking a highly motivated, friendly, and enthusiastic School Support Officer to join our dedicated team.
Anticipated start date: Wednesday 7th January 2026 (subject to HR recruitment and Safeguarding checks), fixed term end date: Thursday 31st December 2026.
This is a part‑time role (50%) working: Wednesday afternoon, all day Thursday and Friday (8:15 am – 3:45 pm).
This is a busy and rewarding role that requires professionalism, adaptability, and a genuine commitment to supporting the school community. Occasionally, you may be required to work additional hours for after‑school events or meetings.
