A local council in Helston is seeking a Mayor’s Secretary and Administrative Assistant to support the Town Clerk’s Office and assist with civic events. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with strong communication skills and computer literacy. This is a great opportunity to be part of a vital administrative team with occasional weekend work and evening meetings.
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our busy admin team as the Mayor’s Secretary and Administrative Assistant. This role includes supporting the Town Clerk’s Office with the administration of the Council and assisting with the organisation of civic events. This role will also assist the Deputy Town Clerk with the administration of Committees as required and will clerk evening meetings (usually no more than one a month) and administer working party meetings as required under the guidance of the Deputy Town Clerk.
This position will require occasional weekend work.
