Job summary

A leading technology provider for the derivatives industry is looking for an administrative support specialist in London. This role includes managing schedules, preparing reports, and coordinating events. Ideal candidates will have strong organizational skills and experience in a technology, fintech, or financial services environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. The company is not engaging with external staffing agencies at this time.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an administrative or support role within technology, fintech, or financial services is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and other collaboration tools.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work under pressure.
  • Event planning or coordination experience is an advantage.
  • A proactive approach with a strong sense of initiative.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the team and senior leaders.
  • Manage diaries, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel or logistics.
  • Prepare documents, reports, and presentations with accuracy.
  • Handle emails, calls, and correspondence professionally.
  • Maintain filing systems and ensure key records are updated.
  • Support budget tracking, expense processing, and supplier coordination.
  • Assist with planning and delivering internal and external events.
  • Liaise with venues, caterers, and vendors for event logistics.
  • Help with ad-hoc projects ensuring smooth communication.

What you'll do

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the team and senior leaders

  • Liaise with venues, caterers, and vendors to manage event logistics and materials
  • Help with ad-hoc projects, ensuring smooth communication across teams
