Work Pattern

Permanent, Full-Time, 37 hours per week

Who We Are

NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is the national health board with statutory responsibilities to effect sustainable change through workforce development, education and training across the health and social care system in Scotland, while working at UK level with partner organisations.

The Dental Directorate is responsible for the delivery of high‑quality education and training across a diverse range of training programmes, including the management, funding and provision of postgraduate education for dentists and dental care professionals (DCPs).

Within the Dental Directorate there are a number of workstreams. This post will support the Dental Workforce Development workstream, whilst they deliver education and training to our Dental teams across Scotland. Working on site in EDEC will be required on regular occasions.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self‑motivated individual to be part of our talented and highly versatile team, based at our NES offices in Edinburgh Dental Education Centre.

As an Admin Assistant, you will support the delivery of education and training for the Dental teams across NHS Scotland, collaborating across multiple workstreams and organisations to have a direct impact on the Business Support team achieving and delivering their programme priorities.
