An excitingopportunity has arisen for the position of Administration Team lead.

Theestablished team of administrators will be supported and guided by thepost-holder and

thepost-holder will co-ordinate and supervise a team of different grades ofadministrators working within the core Administration Team at NHS TalkingTherapies. The post-holder will ensurerobust supervision for the team is carried out and operational procedures arein place and the post holder will take operational responsibility for them andfor the allocation of work.

Main duties of the job

This is an exciting and proven role within theAdministration service and is dependent on the post-holder having strongcommunication, leadership, organisational and excellent administrativeskills. The post-holder will supervise, allocate andmonitor administration tasks and distribution of work to other members of theadministration team ensuring the administration team deliver a high quality andcomprehensive administration service.The post holder will also share their administration knowledge andskills and will also be a key player in supporting and actioning administrationtasks by undertaking general administration duties within the requirement ofthe team. The post-holder will workclosely with the Administration Manager of the Business Unit and the ClinicalManagement Team within NHS Talking Therapies service.

Job responsibilities

The post-holder willco-ordinate and supervise a team of different grades of administrators,ensuring robust supervision and operational procedures are in place and takeoperational responsibility for them and for the allocation of work.

The post-holder will beresponsible for maintaining up to date knowledge of the full range ofadministrative and Navigo policies, processes and procedures acquired throughtraining and relevant experience.

Qualifications
  • Educated to GCSE level grade A to C or equivalent including Mathematics and English Language
  • RSA/OCR Grade III Typing/Word
  • Processing standard
  • Able to demonstrate knowledge, experience and training
  • ECDL Qualification
  • Supervisory trained
Experience
  • Maintaining databases and spreadsheets
  • Previous NHS secretarial/ administrative experience and knowledge of hospital administration procedures
  • Previous experience at working at Secretary/Administration level with supervisory responsibilities
  • Proven ability to direct and lead staff
