Wootton Vale and Shortstown surgery has an exciting administration team leader opportunity for a flexible, self‑motivated and hardworking individual. This position is offered on a full‑time basis. The role will require you to support the senior leadership team to ensure the delivery of high‑quality administration services in our primary care GP surgeries, through the effective organisation and delivery of services by our administration and reception team.
Some flexibility is required as you will sometimes be required to work additional or alternative hours to cover for colleagues. For further duties, please see job description attached.

We are a friendly surgery with a list size of over 18,000 patients, over two sites, Wootton Vale (MK43 9JJ) and branch site Shortstown Surgery (MK42 0GS). Both practices are based on the outskirts of Bedford town centre and have easy access and free on‑site car parking. Both practices share the same clinical and management teams, and are active members of our PCN (Caritas). We have good appointment access, which means happy patients, and a strong teamwork ethos that includes an established clinical pharmacy team, GPs, nurses, physician associates, and a clinical liaison team who look after the clinical staff. We embrace IT and automation and often pilot new innovations. We are an accredited GP training practice for nurses, pharmacists and doctors.
