Job title: Administration Support

Contract: Temporary (Fixed term until end of March 2026)

Hours: 8:30am - 5pm

Salary: Band 3

Location: Cardiff

A busy healthcare administration team is seeking a dependable Temporary Administration Support to provide accurate, confidential administrative assistance for a short-term project running until the end of March 2026. This is a fully on-site role requiring strong administrative skills, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively within a clinical environment.

Requirements:

  • Maintain and update patient and service records using PARIS and Pancrea systems
  • Perform general administration duties including data entry, filing, scanning and photocopying
  • Produce and format documents, spreadsheets and correspondence using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Liaise professionally with clinical teams, staff and external stakeholders
  • Manage incoming mail, emails and telephone enquiries, prioritising tasks effectively
  • Ensure strict confidentiality and compliance with information governance policies
  • Support ad-hoc project tasks and process improvements as required

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with PARIS and/or Pancrea preferred
  • Confident user of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience in a healthcare environment preferred
  • Strong organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work on site for the duration of the assignment
  • Enhanced DBS certificate required (or willingness to undergo DBS check prior to start)
