Administration & Special Projects Manager (Academic & Student Services)

Full‑time, permanent role based at Electra House, Moorgate, London (EC2M 6SE) and LCBT Academy, 3‑5 Fashion Street, London (E1 6PX). We are looking for a proactive, highly organised professional to support our Vice Principal and Academic & Student Services teams across our further education, higher education and apprenticeship provisions.

About the role

This pivotal position will coordinate academic and student services administration, lead cross‑group projects, streamline processes and use data insights to drive quality improvement and strategic decision‑making. You will work closely with senior staff and external stakeholders to ensure that all initiatives align with our commitment to innovative, inclusive, industry‑aligned education.

Key responsibilities
  • Coordinate academic and student services administration across multiple learning programmes.
  • Lead and manage cross‑group projects, monitoring progress and reporting outcomes to senior leadership.
  • Analyse data to identify improvement opportunities and support strategic decision‑making.
  • Provide executive‑level support to the Vice Principal and other senior staff as required.
  • Maintain high standards of record‑keeping, compliance and reporting in line with educational regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Level 2 qualifications or equivalent in English and Mathematics (GCSE grade C/4 or above).
  • Proven experience in project coordination, academic administration or executive support roles – ideally within education or public sector environments.
  • Strong organisational and detail‑oriented approach, with excellent communication, interpersonal and time‑management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and project‑management tools.
  • A passion for inclusive, industry‑aligned education and a commitment to the student experience.

Salary

£35,550 to £42,750 per annum, subject to qualifications and experience.
