Job Summary
Administration and reception at Fertility Fusion. Provide administrative and clerical/reception support to the Administration Team.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide confidential administrative and clerical services to the Fertility Fusion team.
- Cover general reception duties including booking patients in and out of clinics, arranging follow‑up appointments, and coding outcomes.
- Pull, prepare and file notes for clinics.
- Ensure all patient details are correct, checking the central SPINE and updating as necessary.
- Register new patients and allocate appropriate appointments; manage cancellations and re‑booking per patient choice.
- Maintain confidentiality in line with GDPR and HFEA regulations.
- Provide flexible cover for colleagues during annual leave and sickness.
Person Specification
Essential
- Good standard of education including 5 GCSEs or equivalent.
- ECDL or equivalent knowledge and experience.
- Previous admin experience within NHS.
- Experience of working with the public.
- Experience of using Patient Centre (CSC), Electronic Patient Record (EPR) Central spine, Choose & Book (CAB).
- Experience of office procedure.
- Previous experience working within a multi‑disciplinary team.
- Well developed organisational skills with ability to prioritise workload.
- Excellent verbal communication and telephone manner.
- Ability to work using own initiative and take direction.
- Well developed interpersonal skills to enable working autonomously and as part of a team.
- Trust systems knowledge.
- High level of understanding of office skills.
- Data Protection Act, GDPR and patient confidentiality knowledge.
- Freedom of information understanding.
Desirable
- 3‑5 years experience within NHS.
- Previous knowledge of working within a clinic setting.
- IT skills.
