A Vacancy at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. West Essex Community Health Administration Service have an exciting opportunity to join in seconded role as Band 3 Administration officer / Receptionist Adult Community Mental Health Team based in Stansted.
Responsibilities
- Work as a member of the Administration service ensuring that a high quality and efficient service is provided at all times.
- Patient data management on SystmOne.
- Maintain smooth running of the office, including stationery audits.
- Telephone support, receiving and making calls to patients including making appointments on SystmOne and general queries relating to appointments.
- Operate as a centralised administration service providing a comprehensive administration service to support clinical services and functions within the Trust's localities.
- Ensure the timely and accurate recording of all activity across services using trust information systems.
- Be a team player with the ability to cover for absence across all services/locations and be prepared to relocate to provide cover as required.
- To work with a professional, efficient, friendly and polite manner in supporting patient care.
- Maintain the ability to build effective working relationships, be approachable and adaptable with a flexible approach to work.
Requirements / Skills
- Strong administrative, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Computer literate with experience of MS Word and Excel.
- Full training on PARIS and other internal systems; PARIS experience would be an advantage.
- Positive and compassionate approach to supporting patient care; role involves telephone contact with patients.
- Ability to work in a professional, efficient manner and to provide services in a friendly and polite way.
- Ability to use trust information systems and handle patient data accurately.
- Proficiency with the knowledge of Patient Records management; support new users and instruct as necessary.
- Flexible approach to cover across locations; notice provided in advance when possible.
Location and Coverage
Based in Stansted; flexible with regards to covering across Rochford Hospital and Kingsley centre as required.
